Abstract

The memory corresponds to the performance “Convivio, exchange of knowledge, care, and daily life with older adults from Cuba and Mexico,” through which cultural and emotional ties were extended between people from both countries. Based on healthcare, art impacted individuals who lacked information and academic connections to the arts. It was carried out at the 15th Havana Biennial 2024-2025 over an extended period of more than a year, during which convivial and festive activities of a votive nature were held, culminating in a mariachi serenade in the streets of Havana. In addition to the exhibition in Cuba, the tangible products of the work drawings, postcards, photographs, and a documentary video—were exhibited at the Morelense Museum of Contemporary Art in Cuernavaca, Morelos, Mexico.
