8h 33'

Abstract

8 h 33' is the title of an exploratory process of spatial drawing using a 3D pen. In allusion to Cage's 4'33'', this silent process articulates relationships between time, the spatial trace and asemic writing. I begin the text with the trigger for the process and the most immediate artistic references, then, I address the spatial, conceptual and technical exploration for the first installation version presented under the name of Timeline in Casa Versalles, in Mexico City, to later address how the residues of the installation were recovered to be shown at the vii Bienal de Arte de Veracruz 2024, in the form of drawing-sculpture, under the name of Racimo de tiempo 8h 33'. Finally, I share some notes about the next version that will be shown in Cubo Tres gallery in Xalapa, Veracruz
